Fidus is a global high-tech design firm specializing in RF/wireless hardware and embedded software. We seek an RF Designer who can own complete RF subsystems from architecture through bench verification, working with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, manufacturable hardware.

The role emphasizes RF modeling, lab characterization, and collaboration across FPGA/DSP, PCB, and mechanical teams, with a focus on SatCom, GNSS, radar, and software-defined radios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in EE/CE; RF/microwave asset is welcomed.
• 8+ years designing RF and wireless hardware.
• Experience with RF modeling and bench characterization.

Responsabilités

• Define RF architecture and frequency plan including IF/LO; Nyquist, clocking, filtering.
• Design Tx chains from baseband to up-conversion; drivers, PA, output protection.
• Design Rx chains with LNA, down-conversion, AGC and input protection.
• Model and budget system performance: NF, sensitivity, EVM, jitter.
• Select filters, mixers, circulators, isolators, and hybrids with vendor parts.
• Configure RFSoC/DSP paths; decimation, interpolation, FIR synthesis.
