Job summary

Fidus Systems seeks an experienced RF Designer to own complete RF subsystems for client programs, from architecture through bench validation, up to 40 GHz. You will collaborate with FPGA/DSP, hardware, embedded software, and test teams, ensuring rigorously modeled and measured designs.

You will drive RF and microwave PCB layout, select components, and work with vendors to deliver manufacturable solutions, while communicating findings to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years designing RF and wireless hardware.
• Experience with RF/MW components and verification.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define RF architecture and frequency plan, LO selection, and sampling plan.
• Design Tx/Rx chains and power amplifiers up to 10 W with calibration controls.
• Model, budget, and verify system performance (NF, sensitivity, EVM).
• Coordinate with PCB layout, SI/PI, and vendors; support client engagements.
