Job summary

NeighborWorks America is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of network organizations, work with executive leaders and boards, and broker access to tools and experts across the network. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, strategic planning, and a customer-centric approach.

This remote position reports to the regional Senior Director and requires 5–7 years for RM or 8+ years for Sr RM, with approximately 50% travel and residency in one of the specified states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–7 years in community development or nonprofit management for RM.
• 8+ years for Senior RM designation.
• Experience with nonprofit boards and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of network organizations and relationships.
• Engage executive leadership, boards, and partners through in-person and virtual meetings.
• Guide clients to tools and subject-matter experts across NeighborWorks America.
• Utilize data and market analysis to support portfolio decisions.
• Travel approximately 50% to regions and field locations.
