Job summary

NeighborWorks America is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager who will oversee a portfolio of network organizations. This remote role requires close collaboration with NWOs and regional leadership, supported by regular in-person and virtual engagements.

You will guide organizations in utilizing NeighborWorks resources, drive capacity-building initiatives, and work on performance assessments and strategic planning. Significant travel is expected across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or applicable experience.
• 5–7 years in community development, affordable housing, or nonprofit management for RM; 8+ years for Sr. RM.
• Strong governance, fiduciary, and board oversight experience.
• Experience with outcome-based performance measurements and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of network organizations and build relationships with leaders, boards, partners, and stakeholders.
• Guide NWOs in utilizing NeighborWorks services and connecting to experts.
• Use data and market analysis to support portfolio decisions and capacity-building.
• Support performance assessment and develop action plans based on results.
• Engage with boards and lead training and strategic planning activities.
• Evaluate funding requests to align with organizational goals.
