City National Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager SR I in a national role with primary remote work and periodic in-market collaboration. You will acquire and manage a portfolio of small business and personal relationships, working with RBC USWM Advisors to deliver CNB capabilities.

Strong sales, regulatory knowledge, and client-focused consulting are essential. You will drive deposits, lending, and fee income, while expanding client relationships and ensuring compliance with policies and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience.
• Minimum 10 years in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and facilitate new small business and personal relationships while managing a portfolio of existing clients to achieve sales goals (deposits, lending and fee income).
• Develop a defined strategy for engaging RBC USWM Financial Advisors and other partners for client introductions, education and follow-up.
• Manages a portfolio of existing clients and deepens relationships through cross-selling with RBC USWM Financial Advisor and SME colleagues.
• Deliver an exceptional and consistent client experience with needs-based service and timely escalations.
• Improve banking acumen and sales practices through collaboration and internal training resources.
• Capture holistic view of client needs and provide sound financial advice through discovery activities.
• Monitor policies and procedures, stay within lending authorities, ensure compliance with regulations and risk management.
• Interact professionally with CNB and RBC personnel and clients to support quality service.
• Relationship management to understand client realities and growth ambitions, earning trust and delivering tailored solutions.
• Represent the Bank in external activities and professional organizations as appropriate.
• Comply with all bank policies, procedures and regulatory obligations.
