City National Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager I to acquire and deepen relationships with small business and personal clients in California. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting client needs with CNB products, and manage a portfolio with a focus on deposits, investments, and lending opportunities.

The role emphasizes disciplined sales, excellent client service, and collaboration across CNB teams to meet regulatory requirements and client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Must be registered/licensed under Safe Act or able to be registered.

Responsibilities

• Acquire & deepen client relationships – generate new business and consumer client relationships within assigned client segments.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and deepen relationships through cross-selling and CNB collaboration.
• Deliver an exceptional and consistent client experience with proactive issue resolution and service delivery.
