Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Recruiter - Commercial to join a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. This role acts as a strategic talent advisor to Commercial leaders, owning searches end to end from intake to onboarding.

Remote-based position offering exposure to high-impact hiring across commercial biotech teams. You will influence leaders, design proactive sourcing, and drive structured interviewing and compensation strategies to elevate hiring standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly with complex and senior roles.
• Experience in both agency and in‑house recruiting environments
• Deep expertise in recruiting for Commercial roles in biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, or pharma
• Proven ability to influence and manage senior leaders and hiring managers effectively
• Hands‑on experience with recruiting technology and AI tools, especially Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and compensation data for informed decision‑making
• Experience in designing programs to enhance hiring processes, including structured interviewing and diversity initiatives

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic talent advisor to Commercial leaders, aligning hiring needs with business strategy
• Lead intake meetings to define role success, market realities, and assessment plans before searches begin
• Manage hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring adherence to timelines and feedback expectations
• Coach leaders on structured interviewing and compensation strategies to elevate hiring standards
• Independently manage a portfolio of Commercial searches from sourcing to onboarding
• Negotiate competitive offers and navigate complex candidate situations effectively
• Design proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive talent through market mapping and direct outreach
