Keolis Compagnie du Métro du Grand Paris ligne 18 is seeking a part-time remote Senior Technical Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise for the design, integration, and performance of metro systems. You will review engineering documentation, analyze system requirements, and propose solutions that meet safety, reliability, and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with operations, safety, maintenance, and IT teams to guide system architecture decisions and support risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in rail, metro, or transportation engineering, with experience in systems engineering, signaling, rolling stock, or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in technical documentation review, requirements analysis, and validation of engineering designs and specifications.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (operations, safety, maintenance, IT) and coordinating technical interfaces between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance processes related to public transportation or complex infrastructure projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly in written and verbal form.
• Comfort working remotely, managing priorities independently, and using digital collaboration tools for meetings, documentation, and project tracking.
• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Civil Engineering) or equivalent experience; prior experience in large-scale urban rail projects is an asset.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially French, are beneficial for collaborating with local partners.
