Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Senior Purchasing Manager to oversee all purchasing activities, develop efficient procurement systems, and provide strategic guidance across projects. The role collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliant, cost-effective purchasing with continuous improvement.

Based at multiple US locations with potential remote work, travel may be required to support field events and office activities.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• Seven+ years relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, in the construction industry.
• Experience leading and managing others.
• Experience negotiating terms & conditions, MSAs, NDAs, and contract-related agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Field Purchasing Manager and Category Buyers to ensure procurement processes are executed effectively.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and legal requirements across procurement activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to update master templates, procedures, and agreements.
• Provide contract negotiation guidance and ensure proper contract formats for requested work.
