Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Senior Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement processes, develop systems, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role can be located remotely with travel to office and field sites; offices include Phoenix, Centennial, CO, and others. You will lead the purchasing team, drive strategic sourcing, and manage master agreements and POs.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, construction industry.
• Experience leading teams and negotiating contracts (T&Cs, MSAs, NDA).
• Experience with supply chain and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Field Purchasing Manager and Category Buyers.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster professional development opportunities.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and growth.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Drive document control and maintain master vendor agreements and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with IT to implement procurement software and improve processes.
