Job summary

Convergys is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead EMS transformation and automation initiatives within a growing managed services organization. You will manage cross-functional programs, drive execution, mitigate risks, and ensure delivery of business objectives.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in program or project management, with strong stakeholder management and proven success delivering complex digital transformation in financial services or related industries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Program or Project Management experience.
• Experience delivering transformation, automation, operations, managed services, or financial services programs.
• Strong expertise in project planning, milestone management, risk management, dependency tracking, and resource coordination.
• Experience communicating with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical, operational, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business communication.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar PM platforms.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex EMS projects and strategic initiatives end-to-end.
• Develop integrated project plans with scope, milestones, risks, resources, and timelines.
• Establish governance, communication plans, escalation processes, and leadership reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Automation, Finance, Banking, Compliance, Product, and Client Services.
• Create project roadmaps, dashboards, and executive presentations using Jira, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Oversee EMS automation initiatives from requirements to stabilization.
• Lead client onboarding and enterprise implementations with readiness and go-live activities.
• Drive process improvements in invoice management, data extraction, and payment operations.
• Develop executive status reports and portfolio dashboards for governance.
