Job summary

Tapcheck is building the next generation of our core financial platform and seeks a hands-on Senior Product Manager with payments and money-movement experience who can step into active work immediately and help turn complex financial flows into shippable product capabilities.

This role collaborates with Engineering and Product leadership from week one and will own the definition and delivery across payments rails, payouts, settlement, risk, and fraud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with payments or fintech focus.
• Owned payment or money-movement products and flows.
• Deep expertise in one payments domain and transaction flow.
• Experience with payment rails, banks, or PSPs.
• Able to translate ambiguous problems into engineering-ready requirements.
• Strong technical fluency on transaction lifecycles, APIs, and reconciliation.
• Autonomous, proactive contributions from week one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product definition for money-movement capabilities from problem to launch.
• Pressure-test requirements across payments and risk domains and identify gaps.
• Translate business requirements into PRDs, workflows, APIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Understand transaction states, retries, reconciliations, and failures.
• Define end-to-end money movement flows and platform interactions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Data, Operations, and Eng.
• Drive initiatives in Risk, Payouts, and related Money Movement workstreams.
• Use data to measure outcomes and surface risks early.
• Own day-to-day execution: backlog, prioritization, and launch readiness.
