Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Product Manager to own the Payments and EBT platform roadmap in a dynamic fintech environment. You will drive product strategy, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery from concept to adoption.

You will translate business needs into scalable payment features, manage backlogs, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory and market demands. This role requires deep payments knowledge and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Payments, Financial Services, EBT, or Transaction Processing.
• Minimum 8 years of product management experience in payment platforms or related fintech products.
• Deep knowledge of payment processing, transaction lifecycles, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and payment networks.
• Experience with ISO messaging standards and payment transaction flows.
• Experience implementing EMV chip card technology, including migration, certification, card issuance, and payment acceptance solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Proven experience developing product roadmaps and leading cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable product capabilities and configurable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Payments and EBT platform solutions.
• Align priorities with business objectives, customer requirements, regulatory needs, and market opportunities.
• Evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to drive innovation.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through implementation, launch, adoption, and enhancement.
• Prioritize features based on business value and market demands.
• Manage product backlogs, release planning, and feature prioritization.
• Ensure requirements are defined, documented, and communicated to delivery teams.
• Validate product enhancements and engage in User Acceptance testing.
• Contribute to and manage projects.
• Use deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.
• Interface with and influence key stakeholders.
