Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Product/Data Governance professional to lead ABM data governance, documentation, and partner alignment. You will shape the governance model, steward data dictionaries and OpenAPI specs, and drive publication of release notes.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and external partners to ensure documentation accuracy and adoption. A strong background in data contracts, CDMs, and APIs is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across product management, governance, and documentation disciplines.
• Experience managing complex data contracts, specs, or enterprise documentation.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance processes.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and external partners.
• Experience in Agile product-development environments.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own ABM Data Governance operating model and improve governance processes.
• Manage lifecycle of ABM CDMs, data dictionaries, guides, mappings, and API docs.
• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure alignment between specs and system behavior.
• Own ABM Platform release-note governance and publication processes.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Implementations for release communications.
• Oversee external partner coordination for data governance and standards adoption.
