Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to lead strategy, discovery, and delivery of Medical and Dental data products across payer, provider, and pharmacy networks. You will define vision, prioritize opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes in a complex, regulated data environment.

You’ll work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. with a Minneapolis/DC office requirement for four days/week in applicable locations, collaborating with Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years product management experience building or managing data platforms or large-scale technical products
• 7+ years managing data products, data platforms, or analytical products through discovery, delivery, launch, and optimization
• 5+ years with modern product management practices (continuous discovery, outcome-based roadmapping, OKRs)
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare data and data products
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based data ecosystems and modern data architectures
• Proven ability to partner with engineering, architecture, and data teams
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap grounded in customer needs and business objectives
• Identify opportunities with value assessments based on insights, trends, goals, and data analysis
• Define and track outcomes, success metrics, and OKRs
• Reassess strategy based on evidence and learning
• Develop artifacts and communicate vision and strategy to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Develop evidence-based understanding of customers, users, and workflows through research
• Translate problems into testable hypotheses and discovery plans with cross-functional teams
• Assess feasibility, value, and risks including compliance
