Job summary

B-Stock is seeking a procurement lead to own how we buy across the company, shaping renewals for software and indirect services. You will be the commercial lead in negotiations, build playbooks and business-case templates, and drive adoption of AI-enabled contract review and spend analysis to scale a more automated procurement function.

You will report to the VP of Strategy & Business Operations and work closely with Finance, Engineering, Legal, Accounts Payable, and business teams to optimize

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in procurement or related roles where you personally negotiated software and services contracts.
• Proven track record of measurably saving costs through renewals.
• Strong analytical skills to model total cost of ownership and ROI.
• Experience building processes from scratch: intake, approvals, playbooks, templates.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools to analytics or workflows to build automations.

Responsibilities

• Own the renewal calendar for SaaS and indirect vendors, starting material renewals 90+ days out.
• Lead commercial negotiations: price, terms, right-sizing, multi-year terms, and renewal rights.
• Build and roll out a procurement playbook with intake, approvals, and signing authority.
• Develop a business-case framework and templates used before requesting new spend.
• Maintain a single source of truth for vendor spend, contracts, and renewal dates.
