Job summary

Everpure, formerly Pure Storage, seeks a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer in a remote-ready role across Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Chicagoland. You’ll be the technical expert during sales, tailoring Everpure solutions to customer needs and showcasing product value.

You’ll collaborate with sales, specialists, and partners to drive revenue, craft architecture presentations, and respond to RFPs/RFIs. A BS in CS/EE plus 8+ years in enterprise storage or related fields is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, EE or related technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Pre-sales experience required.
• Must reside in Albany, NY area (from the ad) and be willing to remote work in the listed regions.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business drivers and map them to technical outcomes.
• Present technical solutions and architecture to customers.
• Collaborate with sales, channel partners and account managers to drive revenue and win deals.
• Lead RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and technical evaluations.
• Stay current with storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN) and cloud-native trends.
