Everpure (formerly Pure Storage) is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our Albany, NY team. This role focuses on translating customer needs into compelling storage solutions, working with account managers, specialists, and partners to drive revenue growth and win technical engagements.

You will bring a BS in CS/EE, 8+ years of relevant experience, and deep knowledge of DAS/NAS/SAN storage, Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms. We offer incentive pay and equity for high performers.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, EE or other technical degree.
• Pre-sales experience is required.
• Must reside in the Albany, NY area.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, or communications.
• Familiarity with storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
• Strong knowledge of cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, containers).

Responsibilities

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of a customer’s business and decision drivers.
• Translate technology solutions into measurable business outcomes across Everpure portfolio and ecosystem.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists and channel partners to drive revenue growth.
• Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations.
• Create and deliver technical product/architecture presentations to secure the technical win.
