Pure Storage, Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in understanding customers' challenges and tailoring Everpure solutions to meet their needs, while collaborating with sales to demonstrate value of our products.

You will lead technical presentations, drive technology-driven outcomes, and help accelerate growth in storage, NAS/SAN, and cloud environments. This role requires hands-on leadership and collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software.
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture (LAMP, cloud, microservices) is a plus.
• Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Strong knowledge of current storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN).
• Experience with Linux and distributed network environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of customer business drivers and decisions.
• Map technology solutions to measurable customer outcomes using the Everpure portfolio.
• Collaborate with account managers and partners to drive revenue growth and new business.
• Demonstrate storage product and architecture leadership across DAS, NAS, and SAN.
• Lead evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations.
• Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and partners.
• Translate customer needs into innovative solutions to accelerate growth.
• Identify opportunities for interoperability and testing/validation.
• Coordinate with product/marketing to produce supporting materials.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
• Model Everpure values in daily work.
