Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking a Senior Lead Platform Activation Architect to join the PRISM team, turning validated designs into market-ready experiences. You will build demos, craft customer-centric narratives, and partner across Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and ecosystem partners.

This role emphasizes hands-on skills to create working demos from concept, using AI tools, and delivering compelling storytelling in front of customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing tech/commercial roles such as solution activation, pre-sales, or marketing engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proven ability to present to customers and connect tech capabilities to business outcomes.
• Strong technical fluency to translate complex platforms into clear messaging.
• Experience building, delivering, or contributing to demos, workshops, webinars, or go-to-market motions at scale.
• Demonstrated strength in customer empathy, discovery, storytelling, and outcome-based positioning.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with ownership and collaboration across teams.
• Experience in cloud, software, networking, cybersecurity, AI, or partner ecosystems.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, Gemini.
• Comfort with hands-on demo creation and front-end concepts.
• Alignment with Lumen’s culture of clarity, courage, customer obsession, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Translate Lumen Validated Designs into customer-centric activation experiences, including narratives, demos, workshops, webinars, and value engagements.
• Build and deliver compelling customer stories that emphasize business outcomes and real-world use cases.
• Design, build, and present interactive demos showing how solutions work across end-to-end architecture.
• Bring strong stage presence to customer sessions, webinars, and partner engagements.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and ecosystem to shape activation strategies.
• Incubate new go-to-market motions and develop repeatable assets for field use.
• Apply the LVD and Demo Center of Excellence framework to ensure validated, outcome-oriented demos.
• Use AI tools to support storytelling, rapid prototyping, and demo creation; develop working demos quickly.
• Continuously improve activation assets and narratives based on customer feedback and platform evolution.
