Job summary
SOLV Energy is seeking a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee the day-to-day operations on active projects. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.
Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. You will analyze energy losses, optimize PV plants, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain reports and commissioning plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of PV Performance Engineering or data analytics experience.
- Experience with modeling software such as PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety as the core value across all activities.
- Collect data, run analyses, and deliver reports and tests.
- On-board new active projects into SOLV Energy’s platforms.
- Collaborate with Performance Engineers I & II to track issues.
- Troubleshoot data/equipment and correlate with workorder data.
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operational activities.
