Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee day-to-day operational activities of active projects. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR; location details will be discussed in the interview.

You will collect data, track issues, generate reports, support testing/commissioning, mentor junior engineers, and help optimize solar PV projects. Strong communication with clients and internal teams required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or related field.
• 4+ years in PV performance engineering or data analytics.
• Experience with PV modeling tools like PVSyst, PlantPredict, and SAM.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety as the top priority on all projects.
• Collect data, prepare reports, and support tests/commissioning.
• Mentor Performance Engineers I/II and coordinate field activities.
• Analyze energy losses and report performances to teams.
• Maintain and improve internal performance reports and templates.
