Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee day-to-day operations on solar and storage projects. The role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, with interview discussions clarifying location expectations.

You will advance data analytics, support commissioning and reporting, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to optimize plant performance while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years PV Performance Engineering or data analytics experience.
• Experience modeling with PVsyst, PlantPredict, SAM; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of active projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect data for reports and tests.
• On-board active projects into internal Performance Team platforms.
• Lead and mentor Performance Engineers I & II in daily operations.
• Analyze energy losses and performance impacts for reporting.
