Qualifikationen

• - Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• - 5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering for large-scale web, mobile, and digital applications, APIs, and microservices, including 2+ years in a technical lead role.
• - Strong experience testing enterprise applications across REST, GraphQL, SOAP APIs, HTTP/S, WebSockets, and microservice architectures.
• - Proficiency deploying, executing, and managing JMeter in cloud-hosted containerized environments such as Kubernetes on AWS.
• - Skill in building workload models from production data and producing performance reports for release decisions.
• - Experience designing, generating, and managing large-scale test data sets for realistic performance testing.
• - Knowledge of Java, JVM tuning, memory management, and performance optimization.
• - Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and shift-left practices.
• - Working knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and time-series databases and performance tuning.
• - Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• - Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and modern web infrastructure.
• - Experience conducting performance, load, stress, scalability, endurance, and capacity testing.
• - Experience in Agile environments collaborating with multiple teams.

Aufgaben

• - Lead performance testing activities including planning, workload modeling, test design, scripting, execution, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• - Define non-functional requirements and performance SLOs with stakeholders and align targets with business needs.
• - Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests.
• - Develop realistic workload models based on production usage and projected growth.
• - Plan environments, data strategies, and distributed load generation approaches.
• - Analyze metrics, logs, traces, and cloud telemetry to identify bottlenecks and root causes.
• - Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• - Establish baselines and identify regressions across releases.
• - Design, develop, and maintain performance testing frameworks and CI/CD integrations for AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, microservices.
• - Mentor engineers and share performance engineering best practices.
• - Stay current with AI-enabled testing tools and novel approaches.
