Job summary

Workit Health seeks a remote Senior Total Rewards Analyst to own day-to-day payroll, taxes, and leave for 150-200 employees and contractors. You’ll partner with Accounting & Operations to support state expansion, oversee leave administration, and serve as a senior escalation point for benefits programs.

The ideal candidate has payroll operations experience, deep knowledge of US FMLA/ADA/PFL, multi-state tax, and a proactive approach to total rewards. This role reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in People Operations, People Services, or Payroll.
• 2+ years as primary payroll contact.
• 1+ years owning or administering employee leaves.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end projects.
• Expertise in payroll, taxes, pay laws, and leave compliance (FMLA, ADA, multi-state PFL).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with benefits programs and vendor management.
• Desire to become HR/Payroll certified.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize full-cycle payroll, tax, and leave administration.
• Create pay and leave processes in partnership with managers.
• Provide excellent service to employees via multiple channels.
• Drive strategy for complex multi-state pay and tax compliance.
• Monitor department mail and digital workflows.
• Lead special pay, tax, and registration projects for state expansion.
• Own equity administration in Carta and support benefits programs.
• Perform other pay, tax, and people services duties as assigned.
