Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled payroll professional for a remote, 6-month role with potential conversion. The position requires handling bi-weekly payroll for 50 states, tax compliance, and thorough documentation. You will work with Workday and Dayforce to manage tax tables, corrections, and audits.

Ideal candidates hold CPP/FPC certifications, a relevant degree, and hands-on experience in high-volume payroll across the US, with strong research skills and vendor tooling proficiency.

Qualifications

• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
• Experience processing payroll across all 50 states.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and tax research tools.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll in a complex multi-state environment.
• Review and resolve payroll tax discrepancies and adjust as needed.
• Update and maintain tax tables in Workday.
• Process corrections and off-cycle payrolls.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
• Assist with payroll audits and special projects.
