Midi Health is seeking a Sr. Payroll Operations Analyst to own end-to-end pay run execution across all entities in a remote, U.S.-based capacity.

You will serve as the function's primary processor and systems administrator, collaborating with HR, Finance, People Operations, and Legal to scale payroll processes. The role covers payroll processing, tax withholding, equity administration, data integrity, and cross-functional analytics, maintaining compliance and timely responses to employee

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll operations experience with multi-state processing ownership.
• Advanced proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong analytical and data validation skills with high-volume accuracy.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour laws and multi-state tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets; macros or query tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end biweekly payroll across all entities.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, bonuses, retroactive adjustments, one-time payments).
• Manage exceptions, manual overrides, and system computations with audit trails.
• Deliver completed audit packages and review pay results prior to submission.
• Maintain earnings and deductions configurations across pay groups.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, People Operations, and Legal for input submissions.
