Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File with independence and strong technical depth. The role requires hands-on experience with tax notices, amended returns, and payroll error corrections, and mentoring colleagues while expanding expertise.

The position emphasizes high-volume case management, collaboration with multiple tax teams, and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience resolving state and federal payroll tax notices and correcting payroll errors.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (Form 941-X) and State payroll tax returns.
• Familiarity with FICA, FUTA, FITW and deposit schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work across notices, corrections, amendments, and pay & file.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Prepare written agency responses with documentation before deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X and equivalents) independently.
• Support payroll correction workflows and document the audit trail.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize cases by SLA.
• Contribute to SOP and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
