Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across Notices, Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File. You will own high‑volume cases with independence and build deep technical expertise while mentoring colleagues.

The role emphasizes hands‑on experience with amended returns (941‑X, W‑2c), multi‑state compliance, and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams in a remote, flexible environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on payroll tax experience across multiple states with notice resolution.
• Ability to read notices, understand claims, and determine resolution paths.
• Experience preparing amended Federal/State payroll tax returns (941‑X, W‑2c).
• Familiar with payroll platforms and case management systems (Salesforce).
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, pivots, reconciliation).
• CPP/FPC pursuit encouraged; CPP holders for faster development.

Aufgaben

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work; process runs, audit outputs, filings.
• Research and resolve complex notices; own case from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation; meet deadlines.
• Prepare amended returns (941‑X, state equivalents) independently.
• Support payroll correction workflows; document audit trail.
• Manage WIP queue; prioritize by SLA and document cases thoroughly.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP/KB updates; flag outdated content.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File and Tax Notice teams; mentor staff.
