Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across Notices, Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File. This role demands hands-on experience with tax notices, amended returns, and corrections, serving as a mentor while growing technical depth.

The position offers flexible, high-volume case work with independence, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to SOPs and knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience across multiple states, not just general payroll administration.
• FPC required; CPP preferred for 4+ years experience; CPP pursued is favorable.
• Able to read and resolve IRS/state notices and prepare amended returns.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work: process payroll runs, audit outputs, manage filings and payments, ensure jurisdiction compliance.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices, owning each case from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation; submit by deadlines and confirm receipt.
