Intuit is hiring a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File. The role demands independence, strong technical depth, and a focus on customer service while mentoring peers.

Responsibilities include full-cycle tax case work, preparing amended returns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A minimum of 2–3 years in payroll tax and CPA-friendly qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of payroll tax experience with notice resolution and amendments across multiple states.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Research and resolve complex state/federal payroll tax notices; own each case from intake to closure.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support correction workflows; identify source of payroll errors and quantify tax impact.
• Maintain thorough case documentation from first touch to closure.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
