Qualifikationen

• 2–3+ years of hands‑on payroll tax experience with focus on notice resolution and amended returns.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW and local payroll taxes across multiple states.
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll software; strong documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience; FPC/CPP preferred.

Aufgaben

• Execute full‑cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and resolve complex notices across multiple states, owning each case end‑to‑end.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation and meet deadlines.
• Prepare amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (941‑X, W‑2c) independently.
• Support correction workflows, quantify tax impact, and document audit trails.
• Manage personal workload, prioritize by SLA dates and maintain case documentation.
• Analyze trends to identify process improvements and contribute to SOP/KB updates.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams; mentor staff.
