Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notice resolution and amended returns.
• Experience resolving state and federal payroll tax notices independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Independently research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare written agency responses with supporting documentation.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document the audit trail.
• Manage personal WIP queue and meet SLA deadlines.
• Contribute to SOPs and KB updates; participate in cross-functional teams.
