• Hands-on experience preparing amended Federal (941-X) and State payroll tax returns.
• Deep knowledge of federal payroll tax law (FICA, FUTA, FITW) and local tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Lead/SME experience with coaching junior staff and creating SOPs/KB content.
• Strong written communication and ability to document processes for tax processors.

Aufgaben

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices end-to-end across multiple states.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose and resolve payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods or jurisdictions.
• Mentor Senior Payroll Tax Processors and share resolution best practices.
• Monitor WIP, identify aging cases, and drive blockers to resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to team meetings and author SOPs/KB articles.
