Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Analyst to manage multi-state payroll tax setup, coordination and reconciliation. The role partners with Corporate and Field divisions to resolve tax issues and supports reporting to federal, state and municipal agencies.

The ideal candidate will have payroll tax experience across states, proficiency with Excel, ADP Smart Compliance and Workday, and strong attention to detail in a remote Central Region setup.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll tax laws including registering/maintaining state payroll tax accounts.
• Solid understanding of the payroll lifecycle, amendments and taxable wages.
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance and Workday.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and provide support for filing payroll tax returns and reports.
• Maintain accurate payroll tax data including new tax rates and IDs.
• Ensure timely payments by check, online, or wire transfer with documentation.
