MediaCo Holding Inc. is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst for a 6-month temporary remote assignment. The role requires handling payroll taxes across about 21 states for three FEINs, and optimizing ADP Workforce Now with Smart Compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring a bachelor’s degree, 3 years of experience, expert knowledge of multi-state taxation and payroll reporting, and strong Excel skills. This position is remote and open only to residents of NC/SC/GA/NJ/TX/CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Expert knowledge of multi-state taxation and payroll reporting.
• Experience with ADP products and services.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong communication, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll taxes in about 21 states for 3 FEINs.
• Improve ADP Workforce Now with Smart Compliance usage.
• Set up new jurisdictions and coordinate registrations.
• Resolve tax issues with agencies and auditors.
• Analyze payroll data and prepare tax reports.
• Maintain appropriate user access and process documentation.
• Standardize processes and identify improvements.
