Partner Company is seeking a Sr. Payroll Specialist who is fluent in English and Spanish to oversee multi-state payroll operations for a growing portfolio of businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-state payroll operations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, able to communicate with employees and managers in both languages.
• Experience processing payroll across multiple EINs, entities, and pay schedules.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll compliance including wage and hour laws.
• Familiarity with BambooHR Payroll or similar HRIS and payroll platforms.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls across multiple companies, states, entities, and pay schedules.
• Manage payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including commissions, bonuses, draws, deductions, reimbursements, and PTO accruals.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including California).
• Support payroll integrations, system transitions, and conversions for acquisitions.
• Perform reconciliations, prepare payroll reports, investigate discrepancies, and support year-end processing.
• Coordinate payroll tax registrations, respond to notices, and support multi-state tax compliance.
• Assist with timekeeping and payroll data validation for field-based employees.
• Support BambooHR Payroll administration and identify process improvements.
• Respond to payroll questions in English and Spanish; collaborate with teams across locations.
