Greene Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to support our client during a transition, handling end-to-end U.S. payroll processing remotely.

The role requires hands-on processing, data validation, reconciliations, and strong collaboration with payroll vendors and internal teams. You will manage inquiries, audits, quarter- and year-end activities, maintain audit-ready records, and identify process improvements while protecting confidential employee data in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with U.S. payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Experience with audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Support U.S. and global payroll processing from start to finish, including input collection, data validation, calculations, approvals, funding, and post‑payroll reconciliation.
• Review and validate payroll data such as employee changes, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, equity income, terminations, and final pay.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑payroll audits, variance reviews, and reconciliations to ensure accurate, on‑time results.
• Partner with internal teams and external payroll vendors to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Research and resolve employee inquiries, payroll discrepancies, and tax notices promptly and confidentially.
• Support quarterly, year‑end, and audit‑related activities, including reporting and documentation.
• Maintain payroll records, process documentation, calendars, and audit‑ready materials.
• Identify process gaps or control concerns and recommend practical improvements.
