Job summary

Greene Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Coordinator to support our client during a transition period. You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, validations, reconciliations, and respond to employee inquiries while ensuring audit readiness.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on payroll experience, strong ADP knowledge, and meticulous data accuracy, with a Monday–Friday schedule and full-time/contract status.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ADP for processing, reporting and troubleshooting.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. payroll requirements (federal, state, and local taxes, wage-and-hour rules, garnishments, year-end reporting).
  • Strong payroll controls, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Support U.S. and global payroll processing from start to finish, including input collection, data validation, calculations, approvals, funding, and post-payroll reconciliation.
  • Review and validate payroll data such as employee changes, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, equity income, terminations, and final pay.
  • Perform pre- and post-payroll audits, variance reviews, and reconciliations to ensure accurate, on-time results.
  • Partner with internal teams and external payroll vendors to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Research and resolve employee inquiries, payroll discrepancies, and tax notices promptly and confidentially.
  • Support quarterly, year-end, and audit-related activities, including reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain payroll records, process documentation, calendars, and audit-ready materials.
  • Identify process gaps or control concerns and recommend practical improvements.
  • Protect confidential employee data in line with company privacy and security requirements.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Greene Resources is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Senior Payroll Coordinator to support our client's team during a transition period. This role will help provide payroll continuity while the team recruits for a permanent replacement, supporting payroll processing, validations, reconciliations, employee inquiries, audit support, vendor coordination, and other payroll-related activities as needed.

Job Description
  • Support U.S. and global payroll processing from start to finish, including input collection, data validation, calculations, approvals, funding, and post-payroll reconciliation.

Position Requirements
