Addus HomeCare is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support our Chicago-area operations. The role handles payroll processing, ensures compliance with state and federal wage laws, and requires ADP experience.

The position offers a remote work option with regular training at the corporate office. Responsibilities include importing earnings data, calculating gross to net pay, auditing payroll costs, and communicating payroll discrepancies to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Payroll in a multi-state environment.
• ADP experience preferred.
• ADP Vantage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and import hours and earnings files for weekly/bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Process gross to net calculations in payroll software.
• Audit hours, gross and net payroll expenses against prior periods.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls and confidentiality of payroll data.
• Communicate payroll issues clearly with departments and leadership.
