Senior Payroll Accountant (Remote) at TSC, headquartered in Arlington, VA, supports accurate and compliant payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees across federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience across multiple states.
• Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Experience with timekeeping, timecard review, payroll reconciliations, and payroll controls.
• High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling employee compensation and personal information.

Responsibilities

• Administer semimonthly payroll processing.
• Process payroll using ADP and Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accurate and timely transmission of payroll information between systems.
• Review payroll inputs for completeness and accuracy prior to each payroll run.
• Coordinate payroll processing deadlines with HR, Accounting, managers, and employees.
• Assist with payroll account reconciliations between ADP, Costpoint, and the general ledger.
• Review and approve timecards for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper approvals and cost allocations.
• Support onboarding activities related to payroll, timekeeping, and tax withholding.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with laws and company policy.
