FALCATA, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to support accurate payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees, with responsibility across ADP and Costpoint, ensuring compliance with DCAA and CAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience with semi-monthly payroll processing.
• Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Experience with timekeeping, payroll reconciliations, and payroll controls.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll from timecard collection to final payroll processing.
• Process payroll in ADP and Costpoint; ensure accurate data transmission between systems.
• Review inputs, hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, deductions; investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts with general ledger.
• Administer timekeeping and timecards; ensure project cost charging.
• Assist with new employee setup in ADP and Costpoint.
• Support year-end payroll activities (W-2s, tax reporting).
