Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Senior Outpatient Medical Coder for a full-time remote role supporting a growing healthcare organization. You will perform surgical and evaluation and management coding for outpatient hospital services, adhering to ICD-10 and CMS guidelines and maintaining accuracy across multiple queues.

The ideal candidate has a CCS certification, at least 5 years of outpatient coding experience, and proven expertise in E/M coding in office and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Outpatient hospital coding experience with surgical coding valued.
• CCS certification or equivalent credential required or preferred.
• Experience with Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding in office and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgical coding for Hospital-Based Visits, Endoscopy, and Operating Room procedures
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CMS, and organizational coding guidelines
• Manage multiple coding queues efficiently as directed by the management team
