Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand our Specialty footprint across community oncology practices in a nationwide remote role. You will pursue new product lines, technology services and retention across the defined geography, reporting to the Director, Account Management.

This director-level role travels up to 50% and collaborates with sales, key account managers and inside sales to ensure a strong Cardinal Health network and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commiserate experience preferred; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business, contracting, demand realization and GPO pull through.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to design win-win strategies for Cardinal Health and client base.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and profitability through consultative sales strategies and tactics.
• Deliver well designed, compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with a myriad of professionals.
• Develop territory business plans; communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts effectively within assigned geographic regions.
• Demonstrate professional development and stay abreast of industry changes.
• Participate in sales training programs and mentor junior team members.
• Utilize Cardinal Health’s CRM to maintain records, track leads and retention strategies.
