Job summary
Ensono is seeking an Expert Automation & Observability Engineer to lead enterprise observability strategy. You will architect unified telemetry, drive FOAK implementations, and shape SRE practices across hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and legacy environments.
You will define standards, automate deployments, and integrate with ITSM and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring global teams for 24x7 operations.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of total IT experience
- 5 to 7 years as Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer in a large enterprise
- Experience migrating from legacy monitoring to automated observability
- Hands-on with telemetry pipelines and time-series databases
- Experience leading FOAK rollouts and vendor/ops transitions
Responsibilities
- Architect and govern a unified observability framework across metrics, logs, traces, and events
- Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech
- Define telemetry standards, data retention, and cost management
- Define SLIs/SLOs and lead incident war rooms with RCA
- Drive Observability-as-Code and automation for deployment and self-healing workflows
- Integrate observability platforms with ITSM/CI/CD
- Design observability for multi-cloud and Kubernetes environments
- Mentor teams and manage knowledge transfer programs
