Job summary
Korn Ferry seeks a Lead Platform Engineer, responsible for monitoring reliability, telemetry quality, automation maturity, and operability across the infrastructure and application ecosystem. This senior role mentors others and guides platform evolution to deliver scalable, observable systems.
You will partner with product and engineering teams, lead design efforts for Elastic/ELK, telemetry pipelines, and cloud monitoring, and build automation with Terraform/Ansible to improve incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 7+ years of work experience in engineering or a related area.
- Proven senior-level monitoring and observability experience.
- Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, and automation tooling.
Responsibilities
- Establish platform SLOs, availability goals, latency budgets, and monitoring coverage with teams.
- Lead observability design for Elastic/ELK, telemetry pipelines, dashboards, alerting, and tracing.
- Build and maintain monitoring components, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support incident response and drive improvements to alert quality and runbooks.
- Collaborate across AppDev, Security, Networking, Cloud, and SRE teams.
