Job summary
ensono is seeking a Manager of Monitoring and Observability to lead a team of Expert and Senior Observability Engineers and SREs in a large 24x7 enterprise environment. You will drive transition from legacy monitoring to modern platforms, align with enterprise stakeholders, and manage delivery and governance.
Responsibilities include defining the observability roadmap, overseeing incident management, and embedding observability into CI/CD with shift-left practices, while ensuring regulatory
Qualifications
- 12+ years in IT with 3–5 years leading SRE/Observability teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of IBM Instana, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Linux.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC tooling (Ansible/Terraform).
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of Expert/Senior Observability Engineers and SREs.
- Define and execute the enterprise observability roadmap across platforms.
- Act as delivery leader for Agile/Scrum initiatives and capacity planning.
- Champion ITIL v4 and serve as Senior Escalation Manager for major incidents.
- Govern SLIs/SLOs and oversee telemetry and IaC efforts.
- Ensure 24x7 readiness and embed observability in CI/CD pipelines.
