Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for network security transformation. You will provide technical guidance on customers' network security and zero trust journeys, defining solutions that secure business imperatives and evangelize our leadership across on-prem, cloud, and security services.

This is a field sales oriented role with travel; you will collaborate with sales to develop customer solutions, lead demonstrations, and respond to RFIs/RFPs as the main technical contact for

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (L2 Switching, Spanning Tree, VLANs/trunking, IP routing, OSPF/BGP).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with customers in solution discussions and demonstrations.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies.

• Discuss industry trends and changes to the security landscape.
• Position product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Act as main technical contact for RFIs/RFPs for Network Security.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner services for proper realization of solutions.
• Discuss competitive offers and articulate our advantages.
• Distinguish with specialized knowledge breadth/depth.
