Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Sr. Resident Engineer to work primarily from home as a Remote/Teleworker. The role focuses on designing, testing, and implementing Juniper-based networks for customers, including MX, QFX, and EX series devices.

The candidate should have a strong engineering background, 7+ years of experience, and expertise in BGP and route reflectors, with excellent communication skills to engage with senior management and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Typically 7+ years of experience.
• JUNOS CLI experience across MX, QFX, EX series.
• Must understand BGP and route reflect topologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer structure and design scalable, available networks.
• Hold network information gathering workshops with the customer.
• Test patches and features in lab and live networks per plan.
• Peer with other Resident Engineers to share lessons learned.
• Develop secondary skills in other Juniper products.
