Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Typically 7+ years experience.
• JUNOS CLI experience across MX, QFX, EX series.
• Must understand BGP and route reflect topologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer’s organizational structure and network design to create available and sustainable solutions.
• Hold information-gathering workshops with the Customer to capture existing designs and requirements.
• Test new tools, features, and functionality in a lab environment and verify live network readiness.
• Test patches and fixes to operating software in pre-production and live networks as planned.
• Lead technology workshops with the customer to discuss equipment and network problems and provide status updates.
• Support design and planning of Juniper MX, PTX, QFX, EX series within the customer network.
• Contribute to defining best-practice policies for Juniper product applications used by the customer.
• Collaborate with peers to share lessons learned to minimize risk of major upgrades.
